Keke Palmer, the Hollywood actress who is currently enjoying the success of her new film Nope, has spoken for the first time about the constant comparison of her career to Zendaya.
And while there's no doubt that Zendaya has had tremendous success in the entertainment and film industry, Keke has had her own incredible accomplishments throughout her career and is making sure people understand why she doesn't have to be compared to anyone.
"A great example of discrimination against black people is the belief that you can compare them to anyone. I'm the youngest talk show host ever. I'm the first black woman to star in a series on Nickelodeon and the first black cinderella on Broadway. I'm an unmatched talent. This is Keke Palmer.
She also stated that she has been "a leading lady since she was 11 years old" and that she currently stars in the movie #NOPE.
The 28-year-old actress concluded by saying that she has "had a blessed career so far" and is grateful for her success.
"I couldn't ask for more, but God continues to surprise me."
