Last week, Hilaria Baldwin announced that she and husband, Alec Baldwin, welcomed their seventh child together.
Many people were disappointed that Hilaria chose a Spanish name for the baby, despite criticism she has faced in the past for "faking" her heritage.
The girl's name is Ilaria, and her full name is "Ilaria Catalina Irena".
Ilaria is very similar to the name Hilaria itself and the meaning behind both is "happy".
I posted this post on Instagram
"I named you in honor of happiness and the mothers of our family who came before you. Our name means 'happy' in all languages. A few different letters here and there…same meaning,” the 38-year-old wrote.
The folks at Teitter have expressed their frustration because "Alec Baldwin's wife continues to pretend to be Spanish."
In 2020, it was "revealed" that Hilaria was actually from Boston, not Spain, and used to be called Hilary.
