The rapper accuses Tayna of copying and publicly demands $100,000

British-Jamaican rapper Jason McDermott, known by the stage name Stylo G, has accused Tayna of theft and publicly demanded $100,000 in damages.

In a post on Instagram, the rapper has published a part of Tayna's collaboration with Lumi B, "Valle" and his song from two years ago, "Bamm Bamm".

As you can see, there is an obvious similarity in the texts:

Tayna: "Pull up in a pull up in a fresh Adidas / Tayna might ride dem neva need gas"
Stylo G: "P-Pull up inna, pull up inna, fresh Adidas / None of my ride dem never need gas"

"How much does she owe me?" writes the rapper, who is demanding $100,000 or, according to him, the song will be deleted.

Tayna has not responded and currently her song has not been deleted from the YouTube channel. It is worth noting that both songs, "Dance" and "Bamm Bamm", are licensed by Sonny Music, which has led people to think that if it was a "copy", the song would have been deleted by now.

Through comments, people are divided into two parts. Some are of the opinion that Tayna copied the lyrics with the idea that no one knows Stylo G, while others, who think that as long as the songs are licensed by Sonny Music, there is no theft and "Stylo G is looking for attention".

In the music industry, a license is a document or agreement to allow a person/company to use music, usually in exchange for a fee.
