After the immediate departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United club may be sold, as the American owners (the Glazer family) who have led it for 17 years, are considering offers for the purchase of the famous club.
According to "Sky News", the Glazer family made an official announcement, where they said that they are analyzing the potential offers that will come to buy one of the most famous clubs in the world.
"While we want to continue to build on the club's success story, the board has authorized a full assessment of strategic alternatives," Manchester United co-chairmen and chief executives Avram Glazer and Joel Glazer said in a statement, hinting that they are studying agreements and strategic opportunities.
The family is working with financial advisers to include investments in the stadium, infrastructure and Manchester United club.

This statement came after the "mutual agreement", according to which Cristiano Ronaldo could immediately leave the club, without compensation and without any obligation. Previously, Ronaldo has made some criticisms against Manchester United, which brought resentment and protests from fans and supporters.
The Glazers family bought the club for 939.07 million dollars in 2005 and led the legendary club for 17 years.
