Tatjana Patitz passed away yesterday, at the age of 56, and the cause of death has been revealed by her agent, who announced that the supermodel lost her battle with breast cancer.
"Needless to say, we are devastated by her loss. She was a compassionate, kind soul, had a generous heart and championed animal rights," her agent said.
The supermodel, born in Germany and raised in Sweden, started her career at the age of 17 and remains one of the beauty icons of the modeling industry in Europe. Although she lived a very private life with her son and her pets, Tatjana left behind a legacy on the catwalks where she modeled.
During her career, Tatjana was a model for well-known brands such as: Chanel, Donna Karan, Vivienne Westwood and many others. Her last show would be in 2019, at Milan Fashion Week, where she presented clothes from the autumn-winter collection of the brand Etro.
