Marie Kondo is a personality known for her way of organizing and cleaning the house. She divides the items into five categories: clothing, books, papers, komono (miscellaneous items) and sentimental items. The body starts with clothes, which are taken out of the wardrobe and put together in a giant pile. Each garment is then picked up and if it evokes joy, it is kept. If not, it is thanked and thrown away or donated. The same steps are followed for each category.
