Viola Davis has joined the elite group Egot with her win at the Grammy Awards.
The famous acronym Egot means an artist who has received at least one Emmy Award, one Grammy, one Oscar and one Tony Award.
Davis is the 18th person to achieve Egot status, joining the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Mel Brooks, Andrew Lloyd Webber and John Gielgud.
Davis won her first Grammy for recording a book on audio, Finding Me.
"I wrote this book to honor six-year-old Viola," Davis said on stage at the ceremony in Los Angeles. "To honor her life, her joy, her trauma, everything. And it's been a special journey – I've just achieved Ego status!”
In the book, the actress describes dealing with racism and bullying on her journey to becoming one of the greatest actresses in history.
