Adele is a global superstar, but that doesn't stop her from openly expressing her desire to meet significant others. In her case, that person is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
At this year's Grammy Awards ceremony, Adele had the opportunity to make that dream come true. The host of the ceremony, Trevor Noah, started the opening monologue with a surprise.
"This is one of the strangest things I've discovered: The person Adele has always wanted to meet but never got the chance is Dwayne Johnson," he told the audience. "I found out that he is also a big fan of yours."
The Rock appeared behind Adele's chair giving her a hug. “Adele meets The Rock, The Rock meets Adele! For the first time!" Noah said. "Alright, you two get on with getting to know each other, we have to get on with the show."

In December 2021, Adele revealed that she would "cry" if she ever met Johnson, whom she described as "amazing". Despite living in Beverly Hills for several years, the 34-year-old never ran into The Rock on the street.
Adele and Johnson's new friendship got off to a great start. He took the stage to present her with the award for "Best Solo Performance - Pop" for the song "Easy on me". "Come here, my friend Adele," said the "Black Adam" star.
