Bad Bunny's ex-girlfriend, Carliz De La Cruz Hernández, has sued the singer, because the latter used the recording of her voice in 2 songs, without Carliz's permission. It is about "Pa Ti" (2016) and "Dos Mil 16" (2022). The girl says the line "Bad Bunny, baby".
She has signed the lawsuit in the court of Puerto Rico, with the claim that the songs are super sellers and that her voice has been used in promotional materials, in concerts and on various music platforms.
De La Cruz and Bad Bunny dated in 2011, and in the lawsuit filed, she claims that the artist recorded and used her voice on several mixed tracks. According to her, a person contacted her on behalf of her ex-partner to buy the right to use the phrase for $2,000 and she declined.
She was asked again by Bad Bunny's label, "Rimas Music" and again, she refused the request, never authorizing the use of her voice in the Latin singer's songs, so she decided to settle the matter through the law.
