The former defender of Barcelona, ??Gerard Piqué, has spoken about the famous song of his former partner Shakira, "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53", which refers to him and his new partner, Clara Chia.

The former football player has opposed the attitude of the Colombian singer and has suggested that the song does not take into account the feelings of others. Piqué also criticized her fans.

"The subject of diss is ok, it's trendy, but we don't think about the consequences it can have on the mental health of the person the comments are directed at," he said in a Twitch appearance with journalist Gerard Romero.

"It works great for one person, but we don't think about the other person. What should happen? Maybe someone commits suicide and we say, "Oh, did we overdo it?"

"I'm very disappointed with what society is," he added.

Piqué, in a serious tone, said that as a result of Shakira's song, he felt targeted.

"You don't know what I've gotten from people who are her fans," he added. "I don't care because they are people I don't know at all. I don't know, maybe they don't have life. How much importance do you give it? Zero. You will never meet them in life, they are like robots.”

Shakira ended her 11-year relationship with Gerard Piqué, who cheated on her with Clara Chia. She has clearly expressed the resentment and sadness of the separation in  her songs  or  interviews  , while Piqué once spoke about their separation, saying that he is very happy with his partner and that he " does what he wants " . .

Shak and Gerard have 2 sons: Milan (10 years old) and Sasha (8 years old).
