Stanley Tucci, 62, has done many roles in his career, but he has one specific role that if he were to look back, he would think twice about doing it or not.

It is about his character in the movie "The Lovely Bones".

The 2009 film, directed by Peter Jackson, has a fantastic cast of actors such as Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Eisz and Susan Sarandon and is based on the novel of the same title, which was published in 2002.

Author Alice Sebold wrote the horrific story of the sadistic serial killer who sexually assaulted and killed at least seven young women.

The film is about Susie, a 14-year-old girl played by Saoirse Ronan, who is killed but refuses to move on to the afterlife as she still has something to do.

Her ghostly spirit continues to watch over her family and tries to find out the name of the person who killed her. The killer is George Harvey, played by Stanley Tuçi.

Considered one of the star's most intense roles to date, for Tuçi this role was undoubtedly one of the most difficult.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the star opened up about his role as Harvey and revealed exactly why he won't be playing it again.

He called the whole experience "terrible".

"It's a great movie, but it was a difficult experience."

If you've seen the movie, you know that what he says is more than justifiable. The film is brilliant, but difficult and extremely painful to watch!
