It only took a few hours after news of Irina Shayk and Tom Brady's romance broke to talk about Brady's ex-wife Gisele Bündchen's feelings.

Despite some sources claiming that Bündchen wasn't "happy" about the romance, other sources close to the supermodel made it clear that she's absolutely fine with the situation.

A source said bluntly: “Why wouldn't she be happy for Tom? She divorced him. It is beneficial to her freedom that he moved on with his life.”

In March, Bündchen told Vanity Fair why she divorced her husband of 13 years. Marriages don't break up overnight, she said: "It takes years."

“Sometimes you grow up together; sometimes you break up. When I was 26 and he was 29, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. Over time, we realize that we just wanted different things and now we have a choice to make. It doesn't mean you don't love the person."

Bündchen called the end of their marriage “the death of my dream. It's hard because you imagine your life is going to be a certain way and you've done everything you can."
