Wedding guest dress trends change, but one question seems to remain: Can you wear anything black to someone's wedding?
When it comes to weddings, black is widely considered an inappropriate color, as is white (which only the bride is supposed to wear). But times have changed.
"In many cases, wearing black to a wedding is seen as something wrong, because black is usually associated with mourning," wedding expert Elaine Swann told Brides. "But it is absolutely acceptable for a woman to wear a black dress to a wedding," she added.
"Over the years, couples have been more open to breaking the rules and opting for non-traditional and modern wedding dress codes. Today, there are so many dress options to choose from, including black," he told The Knot expert Shawne Jacobs.
However, both emphasize that personal style, the location of the wedding and the time of the ceremony are very important. "My recommendation is to avoid wearing black if it's a very tropical wedding [for example by the sea]," says Swann.

Dress code at weddings
First and foremost, don't wear white! At a wedding, there is only one bride. If you can't give it up, we suggest neutral colors to go with everything.
Choose your shoes carefully: If you can't hold your breath as soon as you hear "Kosovar Dance" or "Tropoja Dance", then you should know better than us how important the right heels are. Choose carefully, so you can be as comfortable as possible and shake the place by dancing.
