The tragedy of the submarine Titan will be made into a movie

The tragedy of the submarine Titan, which attracted global attention, will be made into a film.

The film, titled Salvaged, will come from producer E Brian Dobbins, whose most recent credit was the horror comedy The Blackening.

He is working with MindRiot Entertainment, a company that is also making a documentary about Kyle Bingham, the former mission director of OceanGate, the company that built the submarine and organized expeditions to the Titanic wreck.

"The Titan tragedy is reminiscent of the Challenger space shuttle disaster of 1986: it's a tragedy I'll never forget," said a MindRiot Entertainment representative.

St. ed. On January 28, 1986, the space shuttle Challenger disintegrated 73 seconds into its flight, killing all seven crew members on board.

The Titan tragedy, in which five men died after the submarine lost contact with the surface and crushed due to pressure, made international news in June. According to Deadline, the film will reportedly cover "the periods before, during and after the five-day tragedy."

Screenwriter Jonathan Keasey has stated that the film will focus on "the relentless, 24/7 media cycle that condemns and destroys the lives of so many people."

He added: “The truth is all that matters. And the world has a right to know the truth, always, not the shameful bait shoved down our throats by those looking for five minutes of fame."
