Mirush Kabashi passes away

Mirush Kabashi, one of the masters of cinematography and theater, has passed away at the age of 75.

"Dear friends, colleagues and well-wishers, it is with deep sadness that we inform you that Mirush Kabashi passed away on Tuesday, December 5 after midnight. Mirush Kabashi was born on April 17, 1948 in Shkodër and grew up in Durrës. In 1970, he graduated in Acting at the High Institute of Arts in Tirana. During his career, he performed about 100 roles, in theater and films. Apart from them, Kabashi was known as one of the greatest interpreters of poetry in Albania.

The passion for acting started in childhood. The characters embodied by Mirush Kabashi stood out for their originality and were characters that remained in the minds of the public for a long time.

Some of his most prominent roles in films include "Even so and so", "Women's Deputy", "Warm hand", "Concert in 1936", "Students of my class", "Me and Lenin", etc. . As far as the theater is concerned, one of his most special roles is undoubtedly Socrates in "The True Apology of Socrates".
