The well-known artistic director and moderator Amadeus (whose full name is Amedeo Umberto Rita Sebastiani) has finally revealed the details of the 74th edition of the "Sanremo" festival.
This time, a record number of 30 performers will compete with each other to win the most famous festival in Italy, as well as to represent the country in Eurovision 2024.

Many rumors and words have circulated about this year's festival including news of a surprise appearance by Jovanotti. An important decision is also the change of the voting process, which, in addition to televoting of the public from home and the jury, will also have the addition of voting on the web and the radio jury. The latter will be representatives of the most important radio stations in the country. It is expected that new announcements on this topic will be made in the coming days.
How will the evenings of the festival be organized?
All 30 singers will perform at the opening on Tuesday 6th February, who will then be split in half to perform on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th.
The novelty is the fact that in the intervening evenings, the artists who will not perform will appear on stage to introduce their successor. Friday will be dedicated to the best artists in the country who have sealed the history of music.
Special guests will be:
On the 7th: Giovanni Allevi
On the 8th: Russell Crowe and Erso Ramazzotti.
On the 10th: Roberto Bolle and Gigliola Cinquetti
Marco Mengoni, last year's winner, will be this year not only a special guest, but also a co-presenter of the first night.
Other names that will accompany Amadeus on stage will be: Giorgia, Teresa Mannino, Lorella Cuccarini and Fiorello.
The 74th edition of Sanremo will be shown from February 6-10 on Rai1 and Rai2.
