Famous rappers Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj are creating a new drama that has taken over all of TikTok. Although they did a collaboration in 2019, they seem to have cut ties and are resorting to diss.
Let's just say that Megan's new song "Hiss" was a super diss and people on social networks agree on that. Megan brought up the fact that Nicki's husband has been accused of child molestation.
"These bitches ain't mad at Megan/ These bitches are mad at Megan's Law/ I don't really know where the problem is/ But I guarantee you all you wouldn't want me to start ".
Megan's Law (Megan's Law )* is a federal law in the US that requires authorities to publish information on cases of child molesters and abusers. The law was created after the death of Megan Kanka, 7, who was raped and killed in 1994 by her neighbor Jesse Timmendequas. The latter was convicted of molesting children.
Megan's post delves into Nicki's husband's past, after Petty (45) was found guilty of the attempted rape of 16-year-old Jennifer Hough. The incident happened in 1995 and Petty is registered on the list of child molesters and rapists.
After Megan's diss, Minaj went live on Instagram and shared a bit of the new song, which, not coincidentally, is also a response to Megan, referring to the incident where Tory Lanez shot Megan in the leg. He was found guilty and sentenced to 10 years in prison in August 2023.
"That bloody fell / I told her get up and stand with her leg uninjured", was a part of the lyrics of Minaj's song.
The "Savage" rapper and Nicki collaborated on the song "Hot Girl Summer" in 2019, so it's unclear why the drama started between them. However, it is thought that the reason may be Megan's collaboration with Cardi B for the song "WAP". Cardi and Nicki have long had some not-so-friendly situations.
