Usher apparently invited Justin Bieber to perform with him at the Super Bowl, but the "Baby" singer didn't like the idea too much, sources tell Page Six.
A few days before the big Super Bowl event, there were rumors that Justin Bieber would take the stage, performing with Usher, in front of an estimated 65,000 spectators in the stadium and millions more who would watch the performance on the screen.
But, this did not happen and among the spectators in the stadium, there was also Justin Bieber, together with his wife, Hailey. But why did Justin choose to turn down Usher's invitation to perform on a giant stage like the Super Bowl?
A source told Page Six that there is no rift between Usher and Justin. The latter simply did not embrace it as an idea. Although Usher did his best, he still couldn't convince his friend.
Justin hasn't come back with a music project in a long time. He canceled the remaining dates of his Justice tour in September 2022 and revealed that he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome , which can cause facial paralysis and hearing loss.
