"A star is born", with which Bradley Cooper made his directorial debut.
A musical drama, featuring country music star Jackson Maine opposite Ally, the artist who dreams of becoming a movie singer.
But the "Mother monster" singer was not his only choice for the film. Speaking at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Bradley revealed that he had also considered Adele to play Ally in the film.
"The idea of ??the artist whose career isn't going well, he goes out of the country and meets this woman, but it just didn't work," Cooper says of the possibility of this scenario working if Adele were to come into play.

Naturally, Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, was cast in the film, which grossed more than $436 million at the global box office. Both Cooper and Gaga were nominated in several categories at the 2019 Oscar Awards, including Best Original Song, which Gaga won for the film's soundtrack, "Shallow."

Adele, on the other hand, had only a small role in the third season of "Ugly Betty", while in an interview for Vanity Fair she stated that she is open to acting.
"There's a movie I want to make, but the person who's going to make it isn't mentally ready to write the script for it," she said. "This is the only role I want in the cinema," said Adele.
Bradley also revealed that Beyoncé was also interested in the film during filming, but later decided to leave the project.
"It was unbelievable," he said. "We went down this road together, but it didn't work out. I remember being very nervous then, maybe that also influenced the singer's decision," concluded Bradley.
