Saimir Kodra, in the introduction of the "STOP" show, spoke for the first time after Egla Ceno said that he had asked them many years ago to have sex in exchange for a job.
"I will make a very short reaction, the lady who gave such a statement exceeded all the powers of a reality show, mentioning a person who is not there (present). I don't want to answer that, because the only answer to this weak actress in an equally weak script in that reality show…will be given in court, where I will give my arguments. From today, this statement of hers is a criminal court".
Further, after confusing her last name, Kodra said: "She has the burden of proof to gather all the materials to prove that 25 years ago, (I) not with this beard and not with these glasses, I asked her for sexual affairs in exchange for a job".
He emphasized that they were the same age.
"I don't know if I've ever worked as a human resources director to hire people, or as a receptionist. I was a simple moderator of a show called "Radio Mania". Human dignity has been put in the middle. This is a criminal case for the lady, but also for the television where she said that statement".
Saimir also recalled the years when he worked at "Radio Mania", where he told his colleagues in turn, adding that he could not hire people. Kodra repeated that Egla is a "weak actress" who is playing a mundane and dirty scenario.
"As long as the court will speak, I will no longer deal with and, moreover, waste the precious minutes of this show, which talks about people's problems and concerns. I have been and will always be by the side of women who are violated, bullied, molested and sexually harassed, with facts and evidence, as we have always done".
His reaction comes after Egla Ceno, in a conversation with Julia Ilirjani, accused Saimir Kodra, simply mentioning his last name and implied that he asked her for sexual favors in exchange for a job. Egla said that she was still a student at the Academy of Arts when this incident happened.
