Last week, Blake Lively had some virtual "fun" in the wake of edited photos that the Princess of Wales posted on Women's Day. While promoting the new line of drinks, the "Gossip Girl" actress posted an image of a woman sitting in a pool, while superimposing her face on the photo. Of course, all this was interpreted as an insulting attempt and response to the family photo of Kate Middleton, for which the latter admitted how an amateur photographer had "put her hands in" to improve some details.

But, after yesterday the Princess of Wales revealed that she suffers from cancer, without specifying its nature, it seems that Kate has regretted the post made and through an Instagram Story she explained that she was upset about this whole situation.

"I'm sure no one feels sorry for this post today, but I have to admit that I made an idiotic post about the 'photoshop fails' craze and it pissed me off. I'm sorry! Much love and best wishes to all, always," Lively wrote in her post.

It seems the actress wasn't the only celebrity to poke fun at the royal family. Kim Kardashian, Andy Cohen and John Oliver have also poked fun at Kate's edited images.

The Princess of Wales, through a video message, revealed that she has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy sessions.

"Of course, this was shocking and William and I are doing everything we can to process and manage this private matter for the sake of the children," Kate, 42, said. “As you can imagine, this has taken time. It took me time to recover from my surgery so that I can start the treatment," she said yesterday.
