Gwen Stefani admits she should have taken a break from her career while raising her children. Speaking to the magazine "Nylon", where the singer has been on the cover of the spring-summer season, she revealed that she should have stayed with her family, at the time of the fame she enjoyed from the song "No Doubt".
"At the time I was trying to make my band members happy," she said, and went on to explain that every time she had to go away and make music, and if she didn't come home with a song, she felt like herself. "failed".
"I was saying to myself: "I didn't manage to eat dinner with my family today, nor did I write. One day of my life was wasted", Stefani further confesses.
The singer revealed that the birth of the children left her for a while terrified, without creativity and blocked, while she had a music tour at work. Currently, she is not on good terms with all of her former bandmates from that troubled period.
Gwen is married to Blake Shelton. She has three children, Kingston, 17, Zuma, 15, and Apollo, 10, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
