Some tips for you who will live alone for the first time

Whether you're fed up with your mom and her constant demands for cleanliness and order, you're tired of the toxic friends you share the rent with, you've finally made the important decision: live alone!

This experience seems so exciting, but there is also a little dose of nervousness inside, especially when you have not experienced it before and you are inexperienced. How to manage monthly money, pay electricity and water bills, prepare recipes for one person, etc.

If you follow some of the following tips, you will surely have an easier time on this journey:

#1 Make a budget

Even if you're used to managing your finances, the costs can add up when you live alone. Create a realistic budget for all your expenses, which could include buying used furniture or getting your sibling's Netflix password. A cost less or not?

#2 Create a list of the most important numbers

Instead of searching all the time on google, create a list on your phone with the most important numbers for you, which could be the owner of the house, a number of a hospital, the pharmacy you have nearby, etc.  

#3 Be kind to your neighbors

It's not about sleeping over at your new neighbors' house or making unwanted friendships with their kids, but keeping a balance in this relationship helps when you might be away from home and your neighbor might be watering you down. flowers or help you open the door when you stay out.

#4 Decorate the environment with things that make you happy

It can be a family photo, an object from your parents' house or a painting as a gift from your girlfriend... Just make sure you create a calm and happy environment with things that give you the feeling of sweet memories.

#5 Keep things clean

A clean space is a happy space, so resist the temptation to leave the dishes unwashed until tomorrow or organize the laundry you just picked up. Before you go to bed each night, a quick five minute home system scan is never too much.

#6 Be confident

Living alone is wonderful. But if you've never done it before, to quell any fear, install security devices from cameras, armored door, personal key and no copy etc.

#7 Supply the house with first aid items

A medicine box, wound disinfectant or thermometer are just some of the things you need whenever you live alone.

#8 Master the art of cooking for one person

The key is to plan everything from buying produce to how to cook in small quantities for just one person, so that not a gram of food ends up in the bin.

#9 Meet friends and family

The fact that you live alone does not mean you forget other people from family to society. Schedule certain days during the week or on the weekend, a lunch outside the city, a coffee in a new environment and you will see that you will feel very good about yourself.

#10 Enjoy living alone

No matter how long it lasts, you may no longer have the chance to live alone, as you may get married, start a family, or move back in with your parents due to hardship. So, while it lasts just enjoy it as an experience!
