Elon Musk says he's "an alien," but no one believes him. The billionaire made the strange statement at the Viva Tech event in Paris, where he spoke among other things about conspiracy theories that it has an extraterrestrial origin.

The creator of SpaceX laughed and said: “I am an alien. Yes, I keep saying that I'm an alien, but no one believes me."

This part of the event session was named "Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Elon Musk But Were Afraid to Ask", based on a Woody Allen film.

Discussing the possibility of the presence of aliens on Earth, Elon said:

"People often ask me if there is aliens on Earth, but I have seen no evidence that there is. If I want to see, I will publish them in X. Maybe we are alone in the galaxy, maybe we are the only ones and our consciousness is extremely fragile".

He also spoke about the company's vision for life on Mars. "SpaceX's long-term goal is to make life multiplanetary. We must become a sustainable civilization on many planets. This is the first time in Earth's history that it is possible to do something like this. This ability can only be open for a short period of time," adding that something on Earth will eliminate life and we need to find long-term solutions to survive.
