Popular DJ Thomas Brückner, known by the stage name Tomcraft, has passed away at the age of 49. Through a post published on Instagram, his family gave the sad news, announcing that Thomas passed away on July 15, 2024. So far, the cause of death has not yet been revealed.

"With a broken heart, we inform you that on July 15, 2024, our beloved father and husband passed away. We will forever hold him in our hearts, with love, until we are reunited," the post read.

A friend of his, DJ Westbam, was shocked by the news, saying that 3 days before he lost his life, he had spoken to Thomas. "I spoke to him three days ago and he said he was recovering from a flu but seemed fine mentally. Tom would be bringing new, fantastic music and was planning to play with us at Rave The Planet. All of this is heartbreaking. Rest in peace, brother."

Brünker started his career as a DJ in Munich in 1994, combining techno and progressive trance music. He debuted with the hit "This Is No House" and later became famous with "Viva", "Prozac"; "Silence" and "Loneliness".

Tomcraft continued his career as a DJ for years, playing for millions of people at many festivals around the world. His newest song was "Rude Place", released in March of this year.
