Kim Cattrall has spoken about the series "And Just Like That", which is the continuation of "Sex and the City", denying the rumors that she will be part of it, with the role of Samantha. In an article in Elle, rumors circulated that Kim would return, but the 67-year-old actress wrote in X that no, she will not be part of the new production, accompanied by a kiss emoji.

Rumors of a possible comeback were fueled after she appeared in a cameo in the final season. Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) returned to "And Just Like That" in a very brief scene, which was filmed without the knowledge of any cast member.
The scene in question shows a phone conversation between Samantha and Carrie, but in fact, there was no real conversation between them. Considering that Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker haven't been very friendly with each other in recent years, however, Sarah spoke about the moment of the comeback and said: "I was very happy about the idea. It was very nice and I was very satisfied".
A chick fight
In 2018, Kim publicly responded to Sarah's condolences on her brother's sudden death with a post on Instagram, where she wrote: "Mine asked me today, 'When is that hypocrite Sarah Jessica Parker going to leave you alone? ?". The fact that you always contact me is a painful reminder of how cruel you were then and now."
Further, it continued:
"Let me make it very clear (If it hasn't been already): You are not my family! You are not my friend! So, I'm writing this one last time so that you stop using our tragedy to recover the personality of the "good girl".
Then, in 2021, Sarah responded to someone's comment, denying rumors that she doesn't like Kim very much.
"No, it's not that I don't like him. I never said it. I will never say. Samantha is not part of this story (referred to in "And Just Like That"), but she will always be part of us. It doesn't matter where we are or what we do," accompanied by a blue heart emoji.
