Mounir Nasraoui, the father of Spanish soccer star Lamine Yamal, has been urgently hospitalized after being stabbed in a parking lot in Catalonia. According to La Vanguardia, his health condition is serious and the incident happened during the evening of Wednesday (August 14, 2024).

Furthermore, another media outlet, Relevo, stated that Yamal's father is "out of danger for life" and that he has been discharged from the hospital. Other details are not known, but currently, the police are involved in the case and it is said that there were several eyewitnesses at the scene.

The reports add that the reason for the conflict is not known, but it is likely that the attack came as a result of a previous fight.
