Friendships are often one of the most valuable things in a person's life, but when you're famous, that fact can be alienated for a variety of reasons. And Angelina Jolie is the case! The actress spoke in a recent interview for "The Hollywood Reporter" about many things from her career, projects, children, but also about friendships, revealing that she does not actually have many close friends in her life.
"It doesn't bother me at all, because I don't really have such relationships in my life. So, a person who can call in the early hours of the morning with a concern or to share good news, I don't have one in my life. I often think that the friend/girlfriend may be going through a bad moment in their life, may be losing their parents... There are many situations that make me withdraw. But this also happens because someone has betrayed me! Yes, I was betrayed in friendship,” says Jolie.

For Jolie, human rights activist Loung Ung is one of her close friends, as is her late mother Marcheline Bertrand, who died in 2007 at the age of 56 after being diagnosed with ovarian and breast cancer .
"My mother was very close to me in many things, but unfortunately I lost her. In the most difficult moments for me and my family, I didn't have friends or people I trust around," she adds.
But this does not mean that Jolie does not like the company of other people, on the contrary. If there's one person who likes to watch a good movie and enjoy some popcorn, she's the first to put on her socks and sit next to them!
This is not the first time that the famous actress talks about the lack of social life and close friends. In another interview last year, Angelina revealed that the six children she has with ex-husband Brad Pitt are her best friends.

"They are the closest people in my life and they are my close friends," she said at the time. "We're seven very different people, but that's actually our strength."
