The singer's statement to "Variety" in 2023, where she stated that she was "physically attracted to women as well", sparked quite a few debates about her sexual orientation. But Billie Eilish, as part of the cover of "Vogue" for the next month, says that she regrets this and no longer intends to talk about her married life or love.
"I wish nobody knew anything about my sexual orientation or anything about my dating life," the "Birds of a Feather" singer said.
Perhaps, disappointed by people's comments or reactions, Eilish told "Vogue" that:
"I will never talk about my sexuality again, I won't even reveal who I'm dating or if I've started a new romance," she added.
Eilish admits that she has taken this position, based on her personal approach to private life.
"I think I've always underestimated the fact that I say things openly and very honestly, without thinking about the fact that everything I say will explode in the world news or in the pages of magazines," said Eilish.
The "What Was I Made For" singer admitted that she sees music tours as a way to be in touch with people and admirers of her music, beyond the need to share "details of her private life."
Meanwhile, Billie has recently been busy working on the Power the Polls campaign to encourage fans of her music to vote in the upcoming US election.
