Britney Spears seems to be celebrating self-love in her latest social media post. On Sunday, October 20, the 42-year-old artist posted a video on Instagram in which she appeared in a wedding dress and told her followers that she had "married myself."

"The day I married myself…I'm bringing [the video] back up because it might seem awkward or weird, but I think it's the most brilliant thing I've ever done!!!," she wrote in her post.

Britney's recent posts on self-love and life have been increasing since the decision of her divorce from ex-husband Sam Asghari on May 2 of this year. The announcement of the couple's separation was made public in August 2023.

The couple, who got engaged in late 2016 and married on June 9, 2022, will be officially declared separated on December 2, 2024, as California law requires a waiting period of at least six months from the decision.
