But not only the Internet is gripped by the "Chill Guy"; this phenomenon has also penetrated the world of cryptocurrencies. In addition, the artist behind the creation, Philip Banks, is ready to take legal action to protect the copyright of the illustration.

"I will never give permission for my work to be used for anything related to crypto," Banks said. He also warned on the X network (formerly Twitter) that he will sue and demand the removal of "Chill Guy" photos used for financial gain. “I'm just saying it here: 'Chill Guy' is copyrighted. Legally. I will start removing for-profit uses in the next few days.”
