The day we've been waiting for has finally arrived: Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have finally explained why they cry all the time in interviews for the movie "Wicked".
If you've seen the new movie, you'll be fully aware of why every interview Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have done for their Wicked Press tour have ended in tears.
Recently, the two were told by a reporter that he understood why they cry so much after he saw the movie. "I have something to say to other people who have something to say about your crying: I cried so many times last night! How can you not cry this whole tour?”
"You see! That's what we're trying to show everybody," Cynthia Erivo said, while Ariana Grande shouted, "Thank you so much!"
"Thanks for saying that," Cynthia continued. "We keep trying to say we're not crying, this experience was a huge life-changing thing, it was crazy, it was emotional."
Ariana Grande then confessed: “People think we should go to an asylum! People think we should be closed." Cynthia Erivo then added “We have therapists! This is good. We're just grateful, we're happy."
Cynthia also explained why she and Ariana have so much physical contact
There have been so many times during the 'Wicked' press tour while crying or when the situation gets emotional that Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have had a moment of physical contact. Most important, of course, is the interlocking of fingers throughout the "holding space" saga. Cynthia explained “Ari needs touch when she's emotional. She must have someone close. So I'm there for him in a second."
