A heated debate between Jozi and Gjesti immediately after the end of Tuesday's show on "Big Brother VIP Albania" ended with serious insults, leading to the immediate decision of "Big Brother" to expel Jozi from the competition.
Top Channel has contacted Gjesti's managers, who expressed the concern of his family after this incident. They described Jozi's statement as a serious and unacceptable insult, emphasizing that Gjesti's family members have been deeply affected by this situation.
According to Gjesti's management group, Jozi's comments have not only affected him personally, but also many citizens of Kosovo.
"Labeling a citizen of Kosovo with that sentence that doesn't even make us want to speak is one of the biggest insults you can do. It's denigrating and painful," they said.
During the debate, Gjesti mentioned his father several times, emphasizing:
"I don't want him to hear it, he'll be upset, he fought and lost his brother in the war." His father, a war veteran, is deeply affected by this situation.
How did Gjesti's family receive Jozi's expulsion?
The decision to immediately expel Jozi has been positively received by Gjesti's family.
"Happy that the production took immediate action!" they declared to Top Channel.
Regarding a message to Jozi, Gjesti's family stated that they do not forgive this insult and demand more respect.
"Everyone can have arguments and disagreements within a game, but no one has the right to touch wounds that have not yet healed. We hope that as a society we learn to respect each other, because the blood that has been shed on this nation makes no distinctions between us," they concluded.
This incident has opened a wide debate about the limits of ethics within a game like "Big Brother VIP" and everyone's responsibility for the words they say, especially when they touch on such great sensitivities.
