Zoë Kravitz is grateful for the personal and professional journey she and ex-fiancé Channing Tatum took together over the course of their relationship.
The actress and director spoke for the first time about her split from Tatum in an interview with ELLE, when asked if their split affected how she feels about their film "Blink Twice."
"Not at all. I love this thing we've done together and I really love him," Kravitz told the magazine about Tatum.
"Even when you say how great his performance is in the movie, it warms my heart to hear it and I'm so happy it all happened."
"I feel so grateful that we had that journey together," she added.
Kravitz and Tatum first sparked romance rumors in August 2021, when they were spotted together in New York City. Then, starting the following February, the couple began talking about each other in interviews.
They eventually got engaged in October 2023, but called it off a year later because “they realized they were at different stages in life,” a source told PEOPLE in November 2024.
Despite the former couple calling off their engagement that October, Kravitz, who had already proposed the role in the film to Tatum, did not change her decision, confirming the good relationship that the former couple still maintains with each other.
