Best and worst dressed at the Oscars!

Last night, Hollywood's biggest stars gathered to celebrate the best performances of the year. Of course, such an event requires you to look your best, and while we don't doubt that all the celebrities had this goal in mind, let's just say that not all of them managed to achieve it. Here are the best and worst performances of last night's Oscars:

Ariana Grande, wearing Schiaparelli

We approve! The "Wicked" star looked so dreamy yesterday with a look that looked like it had just stepped off the spring 2025 runway.

Mikey Madison, wearing Dior

We don't approve! The dress was beautiful, but it was way too much. Many stars have worn similar versions of this style. Reinforcing the embellishments on the body or a different color combination could have improved this outfit more.

Lupita Nyong'o, wearing Chanel

We approve! Lupita's custom gown with pearl and sequin details had everything a red carpet look needs: sophistication, elegance, and effortless femininity.

Ethan Slater

We don't approve! The "Wicked" star walked the red carpet in a black suit, a white shirt, and a simple bow tie. He also wore shiny shoes. While his outfit was classic, it was also forgettable — especially compared to the obvious looks worn by the other members of the film's cast.

Coleman Domingo, wearing Valentino, Omega and Boucheron

We approve! Unfortunately, Domingo couldn't secure an Oscar last night, to show all the other men in boring suits how a real star dresses!

Demi Moore, wearing Armani Privé

We approve! Moore knew she looked stellar yesterday, and we're so glad she did. The silver gown was a perfect choice for the big night - a look that highlighted her unparalleled elegance.

Rachel Sennott

We don't approve! The large, pink sequins that decorated Sennott's dress made her look stand out. But her black knee-high boots didn't seem to match the dress. A little less glitter and more sophisticated accessories could have improved this outfit even more.

Selena Gomez, wearing Ralph Lauren

We approve! Gomez has had a fantastic run on the red carpet in recent months, and yesterday's appearance at the Oscars was in the same vein.

Elle Fanning, wearing Givenchy

We don't approve! Fanning is a star in her own right, but her latest Oscars look was...unsatisfactory. Givenchy created a sleeveless white gown for her, which featured a full silk skirt, a black bow belt, and a deep sweetheart neckline. The black ribbon was overdone and barely matched the rest of the outfit.

Lily-Rose Depp, wearing Chanel

Best and worst dressed at the Oscars!

We approve! Lily-Rose Depp looked fabulous in a sheer, lace and sequined dress that was both sexy and very elegant. However, such a dress might be more appropriate for an after-party than the main Oscar ceremony.

Miley Cyrus, wearing McQueen and Boucheron

We approve! Whatever mistake Lily-Rose made with her outfit, Miley showed us how she should have acted perfectly.

We don't approve! The musician chose a striking dress in a pale green shade. It was decorated with silver sequins, a brown belt and a long skirt. Unfortunately, the top of the dress looked like it was for a prom night, while the bottom half looked disorganized and unfinished.

Halle Berry, wearing Christian Siriano and Pomellato

We approve! No need for many comments, Halle Berry's stunning appearance speaks for itself!

Michelle Yeoh, wearing Balenciaga

We approve! A royal-blue look! “Wicked” star Michelle Yeoh was the picture of modern elegance in this bustier dress that looked so beautiful in the deep and dramatic blue.

Zoe Saldana, wearing Saint Laurent and Cartier

We don't approve!  Although the color combination is perfect, the puffy sides of Saldana's dress make her 'lose' this look.

Cynthia Erivo, wearing Louis Vuitton

We approve! We approve! We approve!  Don't you love it when actors stick to their roles and adapt their outfits at award ceremonies?
