The changes on Egli Takos' Instagram have not gone unnoticed, as it seems that the 'curve' of the number of followers has been influenced by her exit and re-entry into "BBVA". Initially, as soon as she left home due to her deteriorating health and emotional condition, her Instagram experienced a noticeable increase in followers, who often translate into supporters of a public figure.
But her re-entry into "BBVA" does not seem to have been well received by many of Egli's followers, as the number of people who have chosen to no longer follow her is high.
When she was still part of the program, Egli had around 192,000 followers on Instagram. After leaving, the numbers reached 352 thousand followers, considered a kind of support after the difficult decision she made. If we do a simple search today, March 17, on Egli's Instagram, it turns out that the number of people who follow her is 332 thousand, thus losing 20 thousand followers after re-entering "BBVA".
These figures have been mostly interpreted by commentators as public approval or disapproval of the decisions made by Egli. Her departure seems to have brought many people to her side virtually, as a form of awareness of her difficult emotional state. Meanwhile, the opposite happened after her re-entry, which suggests that the public, or a part of it, does not think this decision was the right one.
The situation has not gone without a reaction from Egli's family. Through an Instastory post on Egli's official Instagram, her family writes that she did not join "BBVA" for clicks or followers, but for herself.
A few moments before entering the house, Egli emphasized that she made this decision to restore her dignity and show who she really is.
