I don't know Albi Lushi. I haven't read any of his books. In fact, until this morning I didn't even know he existed. But here we are - me writing about him and you reading about him, thanks to a statement that came to my phone and that, apparently, is making the rounds on the internet.
Now, usually, when someone goes viral for "deep thoughts" on women and relationships, there are two possibilities: either they said something smart (rarely), or they blurted out a spectacular combination of sexism, toxicity, and overconfidence. Unfortunately (but not unexpectedly), Albi falls into the latter category.
So what did Albi say that made the internet explode with unkind comments?
Well, according to him, "there are no difficult women, there are women who don't drink alcohol." Stop. Did you read that correctly? Yes, yes. If you need a few moments to process this level of thought, take your time. I know that the brain sometimes refuses to process such statements.
So, according to Albi, the problem is not that some women are simply not interested in you - no, no, the problem is that they are not drunk. A little alcohol is enough and - abracadabra - the "difficult" woman disappears as if by magic! What did we discover today? Forget about a woman's independence, intelligence, desires and free will. The solution? A bottle of wine and wait! It was all a problem with the percentage of alcohol in the blood!
For someone to imply that a woman who has been drinking is easier to be "all yours" is a statement that gives a green light to emotional abuse and not only...
But wait, there's more! Albi also declares that "there are no difficult women, there are men who are incapable of manipulating a woman's mind". Albi sees manipulation as a skill, something that men must "acquire" in order to succeed in relationships. In Albi's world, men are divided into two categories: those with money and those who know how to play with a woman's psychology. Love, respect, communication? No, these are for losers! According to this logic, men must either have a thick wallet, or have a master's degree in manipulation.
Since Albi has so many ugly theories about women, he's probably writing a new book. Let's suggest some titles:
1. "How to not understand women and brag about it"
2. "Manipulation for the Incompetent: A Guide for Men Who Don't Know How to Create Healthy Relationships"
3. "Women and Alcohol: A Love Story That Only Exists in My Head"
In the end, if there's one thing we should learn from this statement, it's this: Manipulation is not a skill; alcohol is not the key to success in love. And if anyone thinks otherwise, maybe it's time to read a good book about relationships - but not one written by Albi Lushi.
