David Beckham's former assistant, Rebecca Loos, has resurfaced the story of his infidelity and stood firm on her previous claims.

In an interview published yesterday, Loos, who worked as Beckham's personal assistant in 2003, said she "stood true" to statements she had previously made, claiming she had a four-month affair with the soccer star while he was married to Victoria Beckham.

Loos, now 47, said:

"I have stood by the truth. I have never exaggerated. I have never lied about a single thing."

She called it brave to go against one of the most powerful couples and emphasized that she only had the truth on her side:

"Why? Because I'm going up against the strongest, most powerful couple in the media who have all the money in the world for the best PR, the best lawyers. And all I had on my side was the truth."

In 2004, David Beckham denied Loo's allegations, calling them "ridiculous" and stressing that he was "happily married" and that there was no influence from anyone to change his relationship with his wife.

Loos is now reflecting on that period and explains that her work as David's assistant meant she was "the first person he saw in the morning and the last person he saw at night."

She repeated claims that their relationship began while Victoria was out of town and that David invited her to a hotel, where she "surrendered" to him. She also described this period as a difficult experience, where she realized Beckham had "played" with her.

Loos explained that the impact of these events on her life had been "traumatic" and that she had had time to recover from them.

In the 2023 documentary about David and Victoria Beckham, they spoke about the difficult period of their marriage during the time David moved to Real Madrid. Although they did not mention Loos by name, they described it as a period filled with "horror stories" but which, according to David, did not seriously affect his private life.

Victoria said: "We felt like the world was against us," while David added: "It was the first time Victoria and I had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage."
