Bella Thorne has accused fellow American actor Mickey Rourke of bruising her genitals with a metal grinder on the set of a film they filmed together during what she described as "one of the worst experiences of all time" of her career.
In a story on her Instagram account, Thorne claimed the episode was part of a wider campaign to humiliate her while they collaborated on the 2020 thriller, "Girl."
She wrote: "This filthy guy. DISGUSTING" above a copy of a BBC article reporting that Celebrity Big Brother producers had criticised the actor for making homophobic comments towards singer JoJo Siwa while they were competing on the reality show.
Thorne went on to tell how she and the Oscar nominee shared a scene in which she was kneeling with her hands chained behind her back.
Instead of what he was supposed to do according to the script, the actress said he "ran the metal grinder into her genitals, through her jeans."
"Being hit on me constantly. I had bruises all the way down to my pelvic bone - Working with Mickey was one of the worst experiences of my life as an actress."
This is not the first time Bella Thorne has spoken out about abuse from her colleague, Mickey Rourke, with a post on X a few years ago that cost the actor a lot.
Thorne's comments about her experience filming with Rourke in "Girl" capped a week of unflattering headlines for the actor, whose work in 2008's "The Wrestler" once earned him Golden Globe and Bafta awards.
He earned an official warning from Celebrity Big Brother UK producers after mocking Siwa for her homosexuality.
The producers of Celebrity Big Brother UK told Rourke that they would remove him from the show if he continued with the homophobic language.
