Michelle Trachtenberg, the star of "Gossip Girl," has died of natural causes. The actress, according to medical examinations, lost her life as a result of health complications caused by diabetes.
Trachtenberg passed away at the age of 39. She was found dead in February, shortly after undergoing a liver transplant. However, it took a thorough forensic examination to determine the cause of her death.
International media previously reported that the deceased had struggled with alcohol abuse problems for several years.
Trachtenberg rose to fame at a young age. Starting her career at the age of three, she appeared in commercials and later rose to fame as a star in children's films in "Harriet the Spy." She later became a household name in her role as Dawn Summers in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and then as Georgina Sparks in "Gossip Girl."
