Katy Perry has reportedly shown signs of regret over her space flight last Monday, as she faces a wave of negative comments and conspiracy theories following the historic mission.
Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez and four other women completed their first all-female spaceflight aboard Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin rocket. The A-list crew traveled for 11 minutes, reaching an altitude of 62 miles (100 kilometers) and crossing the Kármán Line, the official boundary of space.

This trip was advertised and promoted as a strong message of women's empowerment in society, conveying the message that even women can accomplish difficult missions alone.
However, instead of focusing on the positive message, many people criticized the mission negatively. There was strong controversy online about the high cost of the trip , the environmental impact, and the actions that were considered inappropriate by the 6 women on the crew.
Katy Perry was joined by Gayle King, Lauren Sanchez, NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, film producer Kerianne Flynn and activist Amanda Nguyen on the flight funded by Jeff Bezos.

But she is now reportedly having second thoughts – not about the mission itself, but about how everything was interpreted.
A source close to the singer claimed in a Daily Mail report:
"Katy doesn't regret going into space. It was something that changed her life. She regrets the way the whole thing turned out. She never expected these reactions and feels disappointed by the unprovoked and subversive reaction. Despite the accusations, she continues to love and fight for the environment."
The name of the source close to her is not disclosed, while the singer has not commented publicly on the matter.
