Krisa Çaushi, invited to the UëTëFë Show by Andale Media , publicly shared for the first time her reasons and experiences after leaving RTSH, a decision that, according to her, was not only personal, but dictated by an uncertain situation and managed in an unacceptable manner.
"We could have started when I was moderating 'Mëngjesin' with Ardit Murataj. Ardit simply did not agree to some points of the contract and was immediately told 'if you don't accept, leave, we don't care'. The next day, the new moderators arrived."
Krisa confessed that she herself did not have a clear idea about her fate in the program.
"I was told until the day before that 'it will be you with another moderator', which is currently the case, then it was changed. I found out many things later, I don't know how true they are, but they told me that it was decided long ago that we would leave."
She focused particularly on the way the situation was managed by the new director of RTSH, Aurora Polo:
"When the current director... we can't call her a director because she's not... took the temporary position there, she immediately began her work to change the entire RTSH, which had just started to rise and the shows have actually been very successful."
"A war has been fought, a man with bipolar disorder... I don't know. The time has come for everyone to react. I'm reacting too," said Krisa, referring to the long line of former journalists and moderators who worked at RTSH and had their shows suspended without reason by the current director.
For Krisa, leaving RTSH did not come only as a result of a new offer, but as a decision to protect herself.
"One of the reasons I left RTSH, besides Big making me the offer, was because it had become a toxic environment. An environment where I no longer felt safe in the work I was doing."
Her story continues with a judgment of the unprofessional situation she experienced:
"You can't just throw people away in that kind of shape. It was a really bad time for me and I didn't know what to do."
She also mentioned repeated interventions that damaged not only the preparations, but also the public image:
"He has pushed back the release date of our programs so many times that we even got 'dirty' with the guests. The price was lowered, they fired my journalist, they changed the dates. All so that you would leave your job yourself, not be fired, so that you wouldn't have reason to sue him."
Krisa ended the story with a sober reflection: “I’m really sorry I left in that kind of shape,” she said. But she added with clarity: “I did better with the new offers… and no, I wouldn’t go back. Especially not with that person who’s there.”
