A new video circulating online claims to show what the iPhone 17 Air will look like.
The rumored super-thin iPhone 17 model has appeared in the form of a provisional model in a new YouTube video, from content creator on the Unbox Therapy channel.
In the video, host Lewis George Hilsenteger takes a look at several new iPhone models, which are said to be manufactured in China, but the iPhone 17 Air is the one that stands out the most. If this leak turns out to be true, then the Air model could be even thinner than expected.
At its thinnest point, the phone measures just 5.65mm thick, making it much thinner than the Pro Max model, which is 8.75mm thick. For comparison, this thickness is even thinner than a pencil.
Hilsenteger immediately expressed concern about the possibility of the phone bending, although this is impossible to test until the actual phone is in the hands of users.
As previously rumored, it looks like the iPhone 17 Air will sacrifice some hardware features to achieve this level of refinement. This means it's likely to have just one camera lens and a smaller battery capacity.
Despite the sacrifice of reducing the number of cameras, an ultra-thin iPhone could become the most fashionable choice — especially if it fits easily in a pocket, that is, if it does not risk bending and breaking quickly, as with previous iPhone 6 models.
However, everything will be revealed in September this year, where Apple is expected to introduce the new iPhone 17 series.
