In a recent post on Threads, Dafina Zeqiri addressed a topic that affects many women: the way they are judged, especially during pregnancy.
In her message, the singer spoke openly about the frustration she feels towards some men who, especially online, judge the bodies and emotions of pregnant women. She emphasized that pregnancy is a natural and unique process for every woman, a process filled with physical and emotional sacrifices.
"I truly despise the way some men, especially online, judge women – especially pregnant women – for the way their bodies and emotions change. Pregnancy is a natural process and every woman experiences it differently. A woman sacrifices her body, emotions, and life to raise another human being – just as the person judging once grew in her own mother's womb," she writes.
Dafina stressed that she is happy that she will raise a son who will know how to respect women. "It is painful, but it gives me strength to know that I am bringing a son into life and I will raise him with deep respect for women."
"I wish these men could experience the pain, hormonal changes, and judgment that women experience, just to better understand. Some men really need to open their eyes and show more respect," the post reads.
In the end, Dafina appreciated her partner's support, showing how important it is to have a person by your side to make this difficult journey easier. "I hope that more and more men learn to be like that," she concluded.
