Miles Brockman Richie, the son of the renowned singer Lionel Richie, was arrested for allegedly threatening to explode a bomb.
The 24-year-old was not allowed to board the aircraft and after that the situation was tense. Miles was arrested by police at Heathrow Airport on Saturday after he was hinted that a bomb would explode and hit an airport security guard, according to TMZ.
A representative of singer Liolel Richie declined to respond to People's request to give some details of the event in question.
"On Saturday, January 19th, a 24-year-old admitted he had threatened to cheat on a bag in the purse," the People's Police statement said, although the identity of the person involved in the incident has not been disclosed.
TMZ reports that Miles was released after receiving a warning from the police, which is not a criminal punishment, but serves as a "reprimand" for such acts.
Miles, model, is the first child to marry Diane Alexander, with her daughter Sofia Richie.
