All you have to know about brown blood during periods

A good part of women are afraid when during periods, the blood suddenly turns dark or light brown. Be quiet as the periods may come in some colors and that's normal. However, all the necessary details are read below.

So why in brown?

Simply put, brown blood is "old blood". When the blood covering the uterus leaves your body, it becomes more exposed to the air. When this happens, the blood passes the process known as oxidation and gets a shade of coffee.

If you have brown bleeding at the beginning of the cycle, do not worry because it is a remnant of the previous cycle. If you have it at the end of the cycle, this happens because the blood goes out slowly and thus has more time to oxidize.

When should you worry?

In most cases, caffeine blood is associated with the menstrual cycle and in such conditions it is quite normal. But if you see dark-colored blood and no relation to the cycle, then this can be worrying.

This may be a sign of infections, sexually transmitted diseases, a consequence of problems with any early pregnancy, including the baby's failure. It may also be a sign of ovarian syndrome - a hormonal disorder where the ovaries do not regularly emit an egg.
