Camila Cabello talks about mental disorder: 'I was desperate for

Camila Cabello described for the WSJ. Magazine fights anxiety and coping with OCD, known as obsessive-compulsive disorder. Camila said what she reflects on Instagram and other platforms is not a reflection of her reality.

The singer shared moments from her confrontation with the anxiety and OCD that made her daily life "a difficult pain". Like many people with mental disorders, Camila said she felt "ashamed" and reluctant to tell anyone about OCD.

"I did not want people who thought I was strong and capable, people who believed in me, to discover that I felt weak. I was desperate for calm. "

Camila added that "something told her that if she were to be honest about the fight against mental health, people would think that something was wrong with her."

Physically, OCD has caused sleep problems, constant headaches and sore throats. "I felt like I was playing cruel games with me," she said. Camila then sought treatment that included meditation, cognitive behavioral therapies, and breathing exercises.

OCD is the abbreviated term for:

Obsessive - having a constant and uninterrupted thought / feeling.
Compulsive - having a thought / feeling that seems unrestrained, irresistible.
Disorder - Disorder

Some of the most common "fixations":

1. Responsible feeling when someone is hurt; the thought that it is your fault or you could have prevented it;
2. Being obsessed with symmetry, order and rituals in relation to numbers;
3. Being obsessed with cleanliness, washing and cleaning rituals;
4. Feeling disgusted with your thoughts about violence, sex and religion;
5. Collecting lots of "rraqs" to have or collect.

It?s incredibly hard to live with these ?fixes? above. To be diagnosed with OCD it is not enough to have one or two of them and experience them sometimes. In itself this disorder completely changes your lifestyle, takes time where fixations can last 11 hours in a row and requires constant attention.
