A lot of weird things happened at this year’s MTV weird event. Among them was The Weeknd's bloodied face. "His injured face" could not save you, but before we explain the reason, we are telling you that the singer is in good health.

If you have seen the latest Abel videos, you will have noticed that the theme there is with dramatic tones. In the "Blinding Lights" video, he appears as he drives drunk and then with a bloodied face. To promote new music, the singer has been appearing for months with this make up.

Whereas yesterday, after winning the best "R&B Song", Abel gave a special message related to the lost lives of people of color.

"It's very difficult for me to enjoy this moment. I just want to say, justice to Jacob Blake and Breonna Taylor."
