Luxury firms with their own restaurants: Here's what a Gucci restaurant

In September of this year, the luxury firm, Gucci, opened a restaurant at the top of its store, in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, which has a predominantly Italian menu.

"Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura" is the name of the restaurant that has a part of the name, from its chef, Massimo Bottura.

This is the second time Bottura has partnered with Gucci.

In 2018, the three-star Michelin chef worked with the brand in their first restaurant of the same name, in Florence, Italy. In both restaurants, the focus is on a "deeply Italian menu".

The new restaurant in LA, has a private entrance at street level, where the name of the restaurant is written on the illuminated tiles of pale marble.

Guests are welcomed into the large lobby, which is covered in wallpaper with Gucci design.

Star-shaped lampshades are placed on the black ceiling and a red carpet on the parquet, makes all the necessary contrast.

Dinner tables are red marble and separate along with wicker chairs, bistro style.

A restaurant experience is more or less like this:

Gucci is part of a growing wave of high-end fashion houses that have their own restaurants. Louis Vuitton, recently opened its doors to Sugalabo V, a restaurant located inside its store in Osaka, Tokyo.
