It is learned that James Bond legend Sean Connery passed away from pneumonia, heart problems and age, according to his death certificate provided by TMZ.

The certificate states that the causes of death were pneumonia, respiratory problems, age [and] atrial fibrillation, the latter an irregular heartbeat that can increase the risk of blood clots, strokes and heart failure.

Connery's wife of 45 years, Micheline Roquebrune, said earlier that he had experienced a long battle with dementia and "passed away peacefully".

The James Bond legend passed away on October 31, at the age of 90. The Scottish actor was admired by movie fans and is widely regarded as the original and best 007.

Sean Connery started his acting career at an early age, but in the '50s he was more successful. Despite appearing in theaters and movies, it was James Bond with "Dr.No" that gave him another status on screen, which was followed by "From Russia with Love", "Goldfinger", "Thunderball", "You Only Live" Tice ”or“ Diamonds Are Forever ”.

Fame allowed him to be part of James Bond films outside, such as Alfred Hitchcock's "Marnie" or Sidney Lumet's "The Hill." Connery won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for "The Untouchables" (1988).
